Car Park Rush is the first game from Nukkad Games, and today it is live at carparkrush.nukkadgames.com. It is free, it runs in your browser on a phone or a laptop, and there is nothing to download or sign up for.

The idea

Anyone who has tried to leave a packed car park at a wedding hall knows the feeling. Every car is boxed in, someone has parked across two spots, and the band is already on its way. Car Park Rush turns that moment into a puzzle.

"Gaadi nikalo, uncle bachao!"

Each level is a jammed lot seen from above. Cars, autos and bikes only drive straight, so you have to work out the right order to get them all out. Every car you clear pays ₹100 parking.

What gets in your way

  • The baraat. A wedding procession is heading for the gate. Clear the exit before the band arrives.
  • Uncles and cows. Uncles with walking sticks wander through the lot and cows take their time. Bump into one and it costs you.
  • Monsoon days. Wet roads mean longer braking, and driving through a puddle next to an uncle splashes him. That is a ₹50 fine.

How it is built

Levels come in packs of 10 that share a car park, and level 5 of every pack is a move challenge. The whole game is a single web page, so it loads quickly and your progress is saved in your browser.
